Van Duong Thanh and childhood memory

Vietnamese-Swedish painter Van Duong Thanh will open a painting exhibition named “Childhood Memory” at Sofitel Plaza Hotel, 1 Thanh Nien road, Hanoi on April 8.
This exhibition will display her latest works from the past three years, about Hanoi of the past and the present.
This is a collection of abstract paintings, with many large-size works depicting modern life. Each painting is a piece of music with different colours and tones.
Van Duong Thanh didn’t use a lot of colours in her paintings, but her colour-mixing technique is very sophisticated, and makes her paintings special.
Of her 1,600 works, some belong to famous private collections in many countries and famous museum in Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Spain and Sweden.
